If Truth or for that matter morality is objective than why do we need a God?

Objective reality and Morality
Some things I haven't come to grips with yet as a Christian thinker. When I attempt agree that truth is objective, and and apply the "rate it 1-10" scale on everything, I come eventually to morality. Do i help Marvin, who is a man who should have a full-time caretaker, because he is so feeble, and can hardly walk, but is driving to the hospital three times a week and checking into hotels every night in between because he ran or got kicked out of the Old folks home he was in? Or do i continue about my life in my scheduled events, going to classes and not getting in trouble by my professor, and going to paint with my fellow students at the Gospel Mission Center?

I'm intrigued, but I don't think I understand. It's not a specific part that I don't understand, I think it's just I need a lot more fleshing of the connections in what you wrote.
For a place to start, develop the thought that eventually to have objective truth or morality, then there is the rating 1-10, and, ultimately, no need for God.
Maybe it's not something very easy to write out; in that case, let's have some discussion some time.
Actually, regardless of whether or not we can carry on conversation on blogger, let's do coffee sometime.
Peace, brother.
haha, i suck. Objective truth being a "measure it" and find the "best" mentality. That measure it "1-10" mentality being applied to available moral decisions. And finally, if we can really objectively measure and respond to each moral decision in the best way, then God is not necessary. Or God's voice, push, or direction isn't necessary.
I suppose I do not see how there being absolute truth or morality negates the existence or need for God. I think it is God who informs our understanding and perception of truth and morality. Unfortunately I still see a lot of grey area when it comes to both truth and morality, but I think maybe that fault lies with me.
What if God is the objective Truth, Truth is a person? If Truth/morality is objective, then we need God because God is the objective Truth. Truth may be a being and not a thing itself? It is said that all truth is God's truth. I think it may be that all truth is God.
